Our Mission
The mission of INFORS Armenia is to promote a Resilient Armenia through result-oriented research, policy recommendations, on-the-ground reality checks, a proactive media presence, education, and the empowerment of democratic values and good governance. We are committed to fostering critical thinking and analytical skills among individuals and communities, equipping them with the tools to navigate complex challenges effectively. Our team is dedicated to taking short- and long-term actions, including scanning, monitoring, detecting, identifying, categorizing, and operationalizing any hybrid threat. We strive to address all products of information, psychological, and cognitive warfare, as well as lawfare, to ensure Armenia’s security and prosperity.
We strongly believe in Armenia’s potential to become a strong, prosperous and democratic nation, and we are committed to helping the country realize its full potential.
Our Focus
Our focus is on developing and promoting policies that support and contribute to the level of resilience of Armenia’s state and non-state institutions, and improve the lives of all Armenians. We believe that an efficient work of state institutions, transparency, accountability, and civic engagement are critical components for advancing institutional democracy and a vibrant civil society. We analyze and assess the work of state agencies, providing policy recommendations to ensure that policies are evidence-based, efficient, and operational.
We are also dedicated to promoting an education in Armenia. We believe that education is the key to unlocking Armenia’s potential and ensuring a bright future for generations to come. As such, we support initiatives that promote access to high-quality education for all citizens of Armenian. We emphasize the importance of critical thinking in education, helping our fellow citizens to develop the skills necessary to analyze information critically and make informed decisions.
Our Objectives
- Scanning, monitoring, detecting, identifying, categorizing, and operationalizing any hybrid threat and helping mitigate them: Explore and research hybrid threats and provide tools and recommendations to mitigate them.
- Debunking Strategic Narratives and Combating Fake News/Propaganda both from outside (e.g., Azerbaijan, Russia, etc.) and domestically (there is a huge amount of fake FB accounts, troll factories, and widespread malign propaganda): Develop strategies and initiatives to counter disinformation and propaganda in Armenia.
- Promoting Critical Thinking: Implement educational programs to promote critical thinking skills among Armenians to help them analyze information critically.
- Supporting Education: Promote initiatives that improve access to quality education for all Armenians, with a focus on inclusivity regardless of background or socioeconomic status.
- Strengthening State and Non-State Institutions: Develop and advocate for policies that enhance the resilience of both state and non-state institutions in Armenia.
- Transparency and Accountability: Monitor and assess the work of state agencies, offering evidence-based policy recommendations to ensure efficient and accountable governance.
- Fostering Civic Engagement: Encourage active participation of citizens in the decision-making process and engagement with civil society.
- Building Partnerships: Collaborate with local and international institutions, organizations, and NGOs that share similar goals for Armenia’s development and resilience.
